The Department of Mathematics of Holy Cross College, Nagercoil conducted a District level Quiz Competition in Mathematics for +2 students on 6th January 2010. The topic was ‘+2 Mathematics Volume I & II’.
The +2 students from the following schools participated in the competition:
1. Government Higher Secondary School, Kottaram.
2. Hebron Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil.
3. Amala Convent Girls Higher Secondary School, Thuckalay
4. St. Antony’s Higher Secondary School, Kanayakumari.
5. St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil.
6. St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil
7. C.S.I Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil.
Professor Mrs. Immaculate, Department of Mathematics, Holy Cross College was the Quiz Mistress. Students from Hebron Matriculation Higher Secondary School won the I prize. The II prize was won by St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil. St. Joseph’s Convent Higher Secondary School students won the III prize. The Rolling shield was given to Hebron Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
