CHILD
A child is an image of God
Who is so sweet and loving.
A child is a light to the house
Who spreads rays of joy and goodness
A child’s heart is so clean and pure
It can be compared to a lily.
A child is the future wealth of the world
Who grows as a noble person with passing days
A child is a precious gem and a pearl
Who we must hold preciously
A child is a good example to others
Whose innocence and simplicity we enjoy
A child is so clear and beautiful
Whose parents see the face of God
May the child teach you
Wisdom of heart
That you may believe without seeing
And, trust without knowing.
