HINDI, daughter and ENGLISH, daughter-in-law

Smt. M. Vidyullatha Rao, Education Officer, KVS Hyderabad region formally inaugurated Hindi Pakhwada on 15th September 2008. A Bhajan was sung marking the occasion. Speeches were delivered on the significance of the day.
And then began the extravaganza of activities. The whole month of September, one could see, hear, think, eat, sleep, drink and of course speak only in Hindi.One of our teachers has beautifully described Hindi as the daughter of our motherland and English as the daughter-in-law and so it was like a home-coming for Hindi in the month of September!!!
