Self- confidence plays on important role in a human's life. To help students implement it at Emergency, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) Tirunelveli. The Department of Accidents & Emergency, Medicine Vinayaga Mission Hospital, Salem, conducted a training camp on Basic Life Support, with the help of the "YOUTH WELFARE DEPARTMENT".Mrs.Rosary Mary, Director of YWD and Mr. Mookiah, NSS Co-Ordinator were the organizers.

The inauguration was done by Mrs.Cythia Pandian, the former Vice-Chancellor of MSU. Miss.Getzy Rani, Physical Directress and Miss.Thanga Murugeswari II Maths of our college were the participants. The training helped to gain more knowledge about immediate reaction during emergencies. We must keep in mind the future consequences before any First Aid, which may even go wrong if we don't have the indepth knowledge about it.

It was a new experience for them as there were practical sessions, through which confidence was gained. Participation certificates were provided to the participants. It was a good opportunity for them to learn Basic Life Support.
