Career guidance programme

NSS unit of Sudharsan Engineering College conducted a Career guidance programme on "How to win competitive Exams" for the NSS Volunteers. The meeting was presided by Dr. M. Radhakrishnan, Vice Principal, Sudharsan Engineering College.

Mr. K. Karthikeyan, NSS Programme Officer introduced the Chief Guest Mr. B. Parameshwaran, B.E., I.A.S. In his special lecture he explained the students the various stages in the Civil Service exam. He gave tips for choosing the optional subject, preparation strategies, facing the interview board and the availability of training centers. He also briefed on the other competitive exams such as IES, NDA, TNPSC and NDA.

Earlier, in his presidential address, Dr.M.Radhakrishnan, Vice Principal, Sudharsan Engineering College, Pudukkottai pointed out the Engineering background of the Chief Guest, likes of who are increasing recently in I.A.S demography. Normally one finds an I.A.S officer only with Science or Humanities background.
