clusters of hope!!!

I see two worlds afront.A world in my college and a world beyond.The world outside is in chaos.Kinda perpetual anarchy. That world is infested with politicians who claim to be secularists but indulge in vote bank politics.People who swear by our constitution but don't miss a chance of fanning communal and regional passions. That world beyond my campus has Indians torching their own trains full of their own brethren just because those charred inside invoked God by a different name. In that world of grown ups,in that "civilised" society,fanaticism outsmarts reasoning and compassion by a great margin.Most of that world offers not even a quantum of solace to the bleeding humanity. And then i see my college.And here,i see hope.I see guys and girls of different caste,colour,religion and language from all over India.But i fail to see even an iota of hatred in their eyes.We are all too busy eating out from each other's plates,playing pranks,chasing girls,studying all night before exams,bunking classes,watching movies. Those outside shout about secularism,then murder it themselves. Inside SRM,anyone hardly gives a damn about politics but everyone follows the ethos of our constitution. WE do crack jokes on communities and their habits.But we never scorn them,never burn homes,nor kill people.We do fight with each other,but aleast not for religion or statehood. This world inside SRM is one of those "Clusters of hope" that is shaping India,s young minds so that they can change what is wrong and stand for what is right. And to all those spineless secularists vitiating the world out there,I say,"If you think we are good only at gadgets,come learn from us a few lessons in HUMANITY.We are leaders in this too."
